1. All Players must be the correct age for the team they are registered for.
2. Under the League rules the maximum number of players permitted are to be registered by the club is 15. Transfers are allowed under the rules of the league and the club must be informed if another club approaches a player with the view to a transfer.
3. All registered players must pay an agreed signing on fee to cover the costs of registration and any insurance.
4. All players must wear shin pads. If they do not wear them they will not be permitted to train or play in matches.
5. All players must wear correct footwear i.e. football boots on grass areas.
6.On match and training days all players must pay the relevant subs.
7. Players are asked to arrive a minimum of 30 minutes before a game. If you are going to be late please let you team Manager know ASAP so that they can plan ahead.
8. Players need to arrive at the given time in order to warm up properly before a game. In the event of a player arriving after the cut off time they will go through the standard warm up and be available for the selection.
9. Players should attend training. We do appreciate that there are times when players cannot attend and in these circumstances your Team Manager should be informed prior to training. It is at the Managers discretion if they decide to play you on the Sunday.
10. The formation and selection of players on match days is totally at the Managers discretion. The Managers decision is always final.
11. If training is missed and the absence not notified then the player will not be selected for the next game.
12. On match days all players must report to the nominated meeting place and find their Manager.
13. If players are selected to play and are unable to do so they must inform their Manager as soon as possible.
14. The club must be notified of any medical condition {i.e. Asthma etc.) that players may suffer from.
15. The club will not be held responsible for any injury sustained during a training session or during a match.
16. Any damage to club clothing loaned to players is the responsibility of the parents to replace the damaged item. The Kit should only be used on match days unless otherwise advised.
17.Parents are responsible for getting the children to and from games. Do not put the onus on the Manager.
18. Nobody, including the Managers and officials, shall verbally or physically abuse the children. If anyone is guilty of this in any way they will have to go through an FA, as well as an Astro Blues disciplinary hearing.
19. No alcohol is to be consumed by anyone at any of the match grounds attended. If you do so it may result in the team being expelled from the league.
20. Parents are responsible for any fines, which their son may incur for yellow/red cards etc. You will also pay any costs for resulting correspondence.
21. Parents must not discuss things with Managers during a game as this causes the Manager to stop concentrating on the Lads, who are his number one priority. If you feel you have something you wish to discuss with the Manager after a game, please approach after the game(s) has finished or telephone him at home later on during the same day
22. Pre-match and half time team talks are between Managers and the players only. Therefore it would be appreciated if parents do not approach their child during these times. Parents who do approach the squad during team talks will be politely asked to leave.
Please support your child and the team as a whole. It can sometimes be hard to avoid being critical of children when standing on the touchline but please remember that they are doing their best and negative criticism does not help anyone and comments can be heard by children from adults on the touchline. REMEMBER, FOOTBALL IS ONLY A GAME.
